Match: The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels – WrestleMania 25 (2009)

Context

On the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania it was Shawn Michael’s turn to try and end The Undertakers undefeated streak. Two in ring icons came together to steal the show and put on an all time classic at the biggest stage of them all. HBK and Taker had put on great matches before, yet at WM25 everything came together for what has been described as the perfect match. An unbelievable in ring spectacle that has it all. So much so that they did it again at the next year’s Wrestlemania. A candidate for the best match of the year, of the decade, of all of Wrestlemania. Drop what you are doing and go see it.

HBK and Taker didn’t always get on well behind the scenes but always had great chemistry in the ring during their various matches in WWE.

Why You Should Watch

Quite possibly the best match in Wrestlemania history. Hard to argue against. An absolute must watch if you haven’t seen it 50 times already.
