Context
With his contract running out CM Punk sits on the entrance ramp at the end of RAW to get things off his chest. With no one and supposedly nothing off limits, Punk airs his grievances live in front of the world on his terms, breaking several WWE rules in the process. Name dropping people that wouldn’t normally be mentioned and breaking the fourth wall, Punk made sure his match at Money in the Bank against John Cena was must see, while at the same time taking himself to a new level in the eyes of the fans.
Did You Know?
John Laurinaitis became an on screen character for WWE after Punk referenced him as one of the problems in this promo. Before that he was in the backstage role - Head of Talent Relations.
